Maytag Side-by-side not cooling..Have replaced ...

Noticed the back and coils were starting to frost pretty heavily yesterday, but not blocking the air flow to the fridge and fridge was not getting warmer. First issues was the inside back of the freezer was frosting over and freezing up and ice would block the air flow to the fridge side. Tonight, fridge is up to 50+ degrees and freezer is just above 0. Defrosted freezer with hair dryer yesterday. Still would freeze up some, but again, not as often as before replacing adaptive defrost control. I really can not afford a new fridge. Replaced the adaptive defrost control in June 2009.
