Philips Avent ISIS Manual On the Go Breast ...
After she was released they offered for me to rent their pump which I did not find necessary because the avent pump was working so well for me. It expresses quickly, it’s easy to use one-handed. There is a very small rubber piece that fits inside the pump and if it is placed upside down, the pump will not work correctly. I still pump twice a day at work and have switched to this little pump. When my 2nd daughter came, she was in the NICU and I was given a hospital grade pump to use until she came home. I started using this pump as my weekend backup after returning to work full time. I have replaced this pump with each child (now 3) though it was unnecessary – they always worked – I was just eager to get rid of “clutter” as they grew older. My Medela would make my breasts sore from time to time and the suction became unreliable after 9 months of constant use. WIth my Isis I can almost always get between 3-5 and up to 6 if its the first pumping of the day. It takes some practice to use it and get good results, but dont give up on it. I had it for my son and did not have luck with it, I recommend using it after breastfeeding is well established and you have been pumping for a while. I like the control I have with the pump – the “petals” work amazingly. I keep a Medela Pump IN Style in my office and didnt want to lug it home every day. I have never tried avents electric pumps but am sure they are great too.

A Cook's Canvas: Soup
Soup welcomes substitutions and additions and, perhaps more than any other culinary creation, can be tasted and tweaked throughout its development, until it’s just the way you like it. How many images do you suppose we’ve seen in our lifetime of... Furthermore, soup-making allows for quite a bit of leeway, meaning that it’s totally possible to make a delicious soup without really paying much attention to a recipe. It’s somewhat like a sandwich, in the sense that just about anything goes (to an extent), but whereas the ingredients of a sandwich remain the same whether they’re between bread or not, in soup, even the simplest ingredients have the opportunity... Over the years, I’ve made many a soup, and I’ve come to the conclusion that the tastiest ones all begin the same way.
